Swaziland Demographic and Health Survey 2006-07The 2006-07 Swaziland Demographic and Health Survey (SDHS) was implemented by the Central Statistical Office (CSO) in order to provide the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW), other Government of Swaziland institutions, and agencies working in the health and social services arena with the information needed to plan and monitor programmes. The SDHS was the first survey to be conducted in Swaziland under the auspices of the worldwide Demographic and Health Surveys programme. This report, which presents key findings from the SDHS, is intended to provide policy makers and programme managers with a first glimpse of the survey results. A more comprehensive and detailed report is scheduled for late 2007.
